Where is the best site you go to to get reviews on makeup and skincare products? I usually get it at www.ColorMeGorgeous.com or MakeupAlley.com. Just wondering if there’s any sites with a lot of informative reviews?
We really shouldn’t be surprised by this. But we are. New Orleans Saints baller Reggie Bush has a battle on his hands between his current girlfriend and his ex, Kim Kardashian. Kim has decided to SUE his new chick Melissa Molinaro employer. All because she says chick looks too much like her. These Hollywood famous for being famous types are something else.
Deets inside….
Melissa first stirred up buzz when she appeared in a recent Old Navy ad and, due to a resemblance, some folks thought it was Kim K. at first. And by resemblance we mean a tan, some bronzer, and some long dark wavy weave.
Kim, who is planning a wedding to NBAer Kris Humphries that will be taped for her reality show next month, says Old Navy "stole" her look and is mimicking her likeness, so she’s suing to the tune of – million since she claims her pockets have been hurt by this in this amount.
Kim is filing a lawsuit against the clothing giant — claiming they intentionally used a look-alike in an effort to dupe the public into thinking Kim was affiliated with Old Navy.
We’re told Kim is especially furious that Old Navy has been tweeting to her page about the look-alike — in an effort to gain even more publicity.
One of those tweets read, "@CBSNEWS reports that Old Navy’s Super CUTE star looks like @kimkardashian. #LOL. What do you think?"
Here’s the Old Navy ad in question where Melissa, who is also a singer and a dancer, is featured:
And it really doesn’t help that Melissa is Reggie Bush’s new girlfriend. Of course there’s a resemblance. But was this Old Navy’s purpose? Something tells me Kim K.’s name was not on the project board at the big executive meeting to approve this ad.
So can J.Lo, Shakira, and any other chick Kim NOW looks like sue her as well? Just asking so we can understand the logistics of this imaginary copy-cat-look law….
This is really ridiculous. Girl….stop.
BONUS: Melissa talked about Kim K. back in March on E!:
Beyoncé’s fashion line, House of Dereon, is set to be launched for the first time in London at Selfridges in September. It has been named after the singer’s grandmother, the late Agnez Dereon, who was born in Louisiana in 1924.
The look for the House of Dereon autumn/winter 2011 collection is inspired by their idea of a “city jungle” with leopard, snake and African rose prints, which blend “tribal cues with edgy silhouettes”, and prices start at around 80 pounds for a dress. “The combination of colours, exotic prints and silhouettes make for a cohesive collection with tremendous appeal,” the Telegraph quoted Tina Knowles as saying.
“Beyoncé and I are so proud of the line-up and we can’t wait to see the consumer’s response and how she makes it her own,” she stated.
Thursday night, we were lucky to attend the grand opening of Shay Todd’s flagship store in West Hollywood, Calif. Guests of the party, including Maria Menounos and Taryn Manning, mingled…
