2011 MTV Video Music Awards (Pictures)
Last night Beyonce announced that she’s having a baby! At the red carpet she was proudly showing her baby bump.
Only a short time after it was revealed that Beyonce and her hubby Jay-Z are pregnant with their first child, the singing sensation took the stage of the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards to perform her upbeat ditty ‘Love On Top.’
Introduced by two fellow superstars — Lady Gaga (dressed as her male tough guy alter ego Jo Calderone) and Britney Spears — Beyonce took the stage dressed in a sparkly lounge-singer suit and surrounded by back-up dancers/singers.
There was no telling that Beyonce was preggers for the duration of her performance of ‘Love On Top,’ as she confidently moved around, stomped her feet and generally put her all into the song.
The big surprise for audience members who may not have heard the news came at the end of the song, when Beyonce unbuttoned her blazer and showed off her pregnant belly. Jay-Z was shown smiling, clapping and getting some congratulations from Kanye West.
Congrats to Beyonce on a great performance and the upcoming bundle of joy!
